Fingerprinting Certification

The fingerprinting certification is received when you complete a fingerprinting class with a written exam and optional skills test to complete.

Once the class is completed by the user, a fingerprinting certification is generated with your name and a fingerprinting.org endorsement.

When purchasing your training class in order to receive the certification, please choose which state you are going to be offering services in. We have regulations information and certifications for all 50 states available.

Is this needed for my state?

No state except for California require a license or certification to offer fingerprinting services. However, it is highly recommended to obtain a fingerprinting certification of completion from a fingerprinting class to provide proof of training to your clients.

Is this class in person?

The class is online with a video guide to help you capture fingerprints legibly on a card and an option to send your work in for review by an expert to ensure you are using propert technique.

How long is the class?

The class can typically be completed in 4 hours from start to finish.

Do you help with marketing?

We have a marketing course available for purchase along with the fingerprinting class
