No state except for California require a license or certification to offer fingerprinting services. However, it is highly recommended to obtain a fingerprinting certification of completion from a fingerprinting class to provide proof of training to your clients.

Is this class in person?

The class is online with a video guide to help you capture fingerprints legibly on a card and an option to send your work in for review by an expert to ensure you are using propert technique.

How long is the class?

The class can typically be completed in 4 hours from start to finish.
